Try this Balance Test

Stand next to a chair or counter for safety, lift up one foot balancing on the other. Start the clock.  Age-Based Targets (with eyes open): 

  • Under 40: Around 40-45 seconds.

  • 40-49: About 40 seconds.

  • 50-59: Around 37 seconds.

  • 60-69: Around 28-30 seconds.

  • 70-79: Around 14-20 seconds.

  • 80+: About 6-10 seconds.

How long were you able to stand on one leg? Did you hit your target? If not, keep practicing. If you did, add the next challenge.

Challenge 2:  

Stand next to a chair or counter for safety, lift up one foot balancing on the other. Start clock and Turn your head slowly to the Right and Left.

How long were you able to stand on one leg turning your head looking right and left?
